About Me
Thanks so much for taking the time to view my website. I’d like to share a little bit about myself before you take the brave step of scheduling a consultation and/or appointment. After completing a degree in Psychology, I worked in direct care at a substance use treatment center for adolescents and then as a Health Coach for adults in permanent supportive housing. After moving from Texas to Oregon six years ago, I completed my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am now a Registered Associate working under a Licensed Professional Counselor and have my own private practice.
I am an ally to all underprivileged and marginalized groups and do not discriminate based on race, ethnicity, sexuality, gender identity, religious creed, age, or physical/mental ability—I am honored to work with folks with a wide array of backgrounds and welcome you to come as you are. You can find more about my approach to counseling by clicking on the “Services Provided” tab.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time in nature with my wife and dog, playing guitar, digging for vinyl, and playing sports. I consider myself a lifelong learner and love to read and travel as ways to broaden my worldview. I appreciate your consideration and look forward to the possibility of getting to learn about you.
